The House of NOÉMI
A Mongolian atelier of cashmere, designed in the spirit of quiet luxury.
NOÉMI was founded in 2021 by Mongolian designer Nominchuluun "Nona" — an art director and lifelong student of fashion who began the house as a passion project, drawing on a childhood spent surrounded by the language of cloth. Her first runway, Timeless, debuted at the Contemporary Art & Fashion Exhibition in Ulaanbaatar that September. The collection set the tenor of everything that has followed: pieces designed to live across seasons, made from the materials Mongolia has been famous for since long before fashion paid attention.
Today, NOÉMI works almost exclusively in cashmere — sourced from the Mongolian steppe, knitted and tailored in our Ulaanbaatar ateliers in collaboration with two of the country's most respected manufacturers, both producing to export standard. Each collection is small. Many pieces are made once and not repeated.
We make few things, well.
The brand sits in a deliberate place — adjacent to the international houses we admire, but rooted in the country whose cashmere they buy. Our philosophy is simple. We are uninterested in trends; we are interested in cloth. We believe in limited quantity, considered design, and the dignity of an object made by people who knew what they were doing.
NOÉMI is run today by two co-founders — Nona, as creative director, and Tuvshoo, her partner in business and operations. The atelier sits inside the brand's flagship at Central Tower, Ulaanbaatar, where the team also receives private appointments. Pieces are available there, online, and — increasingly — internationally.
Slow. Considered. Made in Mongolia.
